We had an amazing trip with our friends! The views from our balcony were breathtaking, and we loved the proximity to places like the Portlligat Museum-House. The tennis courts were a fun way to spend our afternoons. The staff was super friendly, and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. Honestly, you can't miss the relaxed atmosphere and the delicious Japanese food. Definitely a highlight of our vacation!
One downside was the steep walk back to the hotel from town after a long day of exploring, especially if you've had a few cocktails and a big meal.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise. The spacious studio provided everything we needed for self-catering and was impeccably clean. We really enjoyed the proximity to places like the Museum of Cadaques and the Church of Sant Baldiri, which were just a short walk away, although the return trip up the hill was quite the workout. Overall, it was a lovely stay and the scenic surroundings made our trip unforgettable.

Staying at Carpe Diem Cadaques brought some lovely moments. The views from the terrace were simply breathtaking, especially while enjoying a morning coffee. Our apartment had plenty of space with a dining table and even a washing machine, which made our family trip easier. Staff members were welcoming, and we appreciated their effort to ensure our needs were met. The heated pool area provided a stunning backdrop for relaxation, although it was a bit chilly to swim given the October weather. The location, while quiet, required navigating steep hills, which might not be suitable for everyone. The Japanese restaurant was a letdown as it was closed during our stay. We had some noise interruptions from the outdoor stairs, affecting sleep, and the apartment could use cozier lighting rather than the bright overhead lights. All in all, some small issues but the positives made it enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay with our five kids! The swimming pool was a favorite, offering stunning views. We loved the close proximity to town for evening strolls, and the family-friendly atmosphere made it easy to relax. The kids enjoyed playing tennis too!
In my wife’s opinion, another coffee machine would be great.

great stay with minor mobility concerns
The spacious studio with a balcony provided ample living space. Everything was very clean and well equipped for self-catering needs. The complimentary on-site parking was a major advantage, considering the limited availability in the area.
The walk back to the hotel from town is up a steep hill, not ideal for everyone.

While the spacious accommodation was well-equipped, the slow EV charger presented some inconvenience, and navigating the steep walk back from the village made returning after a long day challenging. The beautiful pool area, however, provided a perfect spot to unwind.
